I really don't think that our submission policy is all that difficult but then this is the only club I'm in and it seems pretty basic and routine to me. I'm not sure how other clubs run that sort of thing...

Other clubs have a simpler system. All photo's are added to the gallery or admin's choose which ones they like best....
The first method has the disadvantage that also less quality photo's will be in the club's gallery, the second method implies that you have to have the luck that the admin's have the same taste as you have ;)

Er... this is a pretty small suggestion... but you might want to put apostrophes in "Club's" in your signature! (I'm a picky grammar person and those kind of things bother me ;p)

I'm going to go join the club right now, BTW. :D

What about reducing the number of votes to 7 with a "10p, 7p, 5p, 4p, 3p, 2p, 1p"-system. This would make a bigger difference between the score of the pic you like best and the rest, witch sounds better in my mind. Could also have been 5 votes "10p, 6p, 4p, 2p, 1p" etc, etc.

Should still have the 10 images with most votes added to the gallery, though.

I like this idea, had it myself actually and forgot it again xD It's much work for the members to choose 10 dev's in order... It would be easier and a lot less work, if they had to choose just 5 dev's... besides, rubidium: that's a good point too :)
